Times Tables

In Y3R we have been trying really hard to learn our times tables, especially our 3′s, 4′s and 8′s.

One game we play in school is ‘Hit the Button’ http://www.topmarks.co.uk/maths-games/hit-the-button This game helps us to develop our multiplication facts and to know them quickly.

Keep up the good work year 3. If you have any ways which help you learn your times tables, please comment to give each other ideas.

Hope you’re all having a lovely weekend and I look forward to hearing all about it on Monday :)

In Y3R, we became Palaeontologists for the morning. We used brushes to slowly brush away the sand and dust to reveal the fossils. Some of the fossils were skulls and some were footprints! We then used information given to us to discover which Dinosaur they belonged too. We had lots of fun and learnt so much about Dinosaurs and their fossils. We cannot wait to use this information in our writing!
